I was very excited to start The Canadian Holistic Therapist's Training School hot stone course, and for good reason! The theory portion was packed with useful information about every possible aspect of hot stone therapy, and related subjects, such as aromatherapy, the meridian theory, chakras, etc. It made me feel very knowledgeable and confident about the therapy. Additionally, the practical, hands-on massage training was thorough and very clear, and encompassed not only massage, but stone layout, and several types of facial procedures, and little extras! All together this course was beyond my expectations, and very complete. It doesn't even compare to the other courses out there (trust me, I UNFORTUNATELY tried those first....) The bonus part was, Keegan has an immense love and dedication to the therapy, that just made the course that much more significant. I highly, highly recommend it!"

The Hot Stones are quite popular, especially on a cold winter day. It seems that the method you taught is quite different from the methods used by the two therapists practicing here. Their treatments are mostly massage and they use the stones to warm muscle groups, and only a little actual stone massage. I think that your method is hard work but is superior to the other methods offered.

Not only have I learnt the history and theory behind the Hot Stone Therapy, but also the practical application of it. "I just wanted to let you know that I used my stones to help heal an injury I recently incurred. I fell down my stairs and pulled the ligaments in my shoulder. After about 3 days of pain and not being able to lift my shoulder, I decided to try the stones on it as I was taught. I put one stone on top and one underneath my shoulder.
