This course is designed for anyone wanting to learn how to safely use Aromatherapy without taking the full certification to become a practitioner of Aromatherapy.

This General course is an extremely valuable course in that it promotes the safety data on Aromatherapy for home, office or with family and friends. This course will also become a deduction for any serious minded students wanting to complete the Certification to become a Practitioner of Aromatherapy. Students taking this course will receive a safety data booklet on which essential oils to avoid in skin use and which to use with safety.

Other subjects covered:

  • Applications and therapeutic uses of 20 essential oils, carrier oils/base oils and their uses. Dosages, precautions and blending

  • Skin irritation

  • Skin sensitization

  • Skin photo-sensitization

  • Systemic Toxicity

    Students will receive a 5ml bottle of each oil listed in this course together with the researched monographs relating to the applications of each oil, its suggested uses. Various ways of application. Safety Data on Allergic reactions.
