The
Ancient Chinese art of healing, has become popular the world over
in past decades. Now an extremely popular pain treatment or pain
management therapy, used by the Western World whereby very fine
needles are inserted into the skin at various meridian points to
stimulate electrical centers to influence the flow of energy to
create a balance between positive and negative (better known by
the Chinese as Yin-Yang)
The meridians are also pathways for energy to vitalize the body
and release pain. Many prestigious hospitals, universities and medical
schools around the world have now established departments for acupuncture
research therapy and analgesia.
Acupuncture is one of the oldest and most reliable pain management
therapies, aiding depression, stress, body aches/pains, fibromaylgia,
migraines, sinusitis, headaches, pms, menopause and a host of other
common illnesses. Where anti-inflammatory drugs are often used as
painkillers and tend to cause a number of stomach problems, Acupuncture
could be the safer alternative to any conventional drug therapy.
